Daisy & DeHart: The Story

“A true friend leaves paw prints on your heart.”

Daisy & DeHart chronicles the adventures of Daisy, who is a 3 year old Frenchton, and me. I named Daisy after my favorite flower! Few people know that my middle name is DeHart. It is my mother’s maiden name (very southern thing to do) Coincidentally, my ancestry (DeHart) immigrated through Charleston from Europe. So I guess you can say it was providence that I would end up attending law school here and making Charleston my home.

Daisy has been with me for 3 years and it was love at first sight! Through thick and thin, health and sickness, happiness and heartbreak she has been by my side! You can read about my story and the journey of my summer battling brain and neck tumor removal and follow up radiation and see how Daisy was there for me.

When a dog is in your life, there is always a reason to laugh. Especially when the pup is like Daisy and allows you to play dress up with her! We are both fashionistas and love the camera (well, not Daisy so much but she puts up with it!)
